The ARC tutoring program is composed of Shen students who have been hand selected by the school district for their academic excellence, working one-on-one with their peers, who may be struggling with their studies. Make an appointment, or just walk in during lunch to meet with one of the dozens of student tutors for help with any subject – Algebra I/II, Geometry, Pre-Calc and Calculus, English, the sciences, you name it! And if you’re interested, talk to your counselor about volunteering as a tutor yourself. Volunteering for the ARC program provides you with volunteer hours that you can put towards getting admitted into the National Honors Society, and we all know how much colleges love seeing that on your resume!
The ARC tutors meet in the Arc in the library during lunch periods, one or two tutors at a time. There will always be someone there to help!
